Mr. Lawson grew up in Dallas, TX, and attended college at Oklahoma Christian University in Oklahoma City, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma Christian with a BS in computer science in 1992.
Upon graduation, Mr. Lawson relocated to Minneapolis, MN, where he worked for Lawson Software until 2000.
Mr. Lawson left Lawson Software in 2000 and formed the software company ConferenceMax, which was purchased in 2002 by the San Francisco based company G2Planet. Mr. Lawson currently does contract work for G2Planet.
In addition to serving on the Board of Directors of the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism, Mr. Lawson serves on the Board of Development at Oklahoma Christian University.
