W. Roger Webb

W. Roger Webb became the nineteenth President of the University of Central Oklahoma, July 1997.

Dr. Webb, a native of eastern Oklahoma, graduated from Heavener High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma State University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.

He served as Oklahoma Commissioner of Public Safety from 1974-1978. He also holds the distinction of having presided as State Chairman of Oklahoma Homecoming '90.

Dr. Webb was named to the Oklahoma Higher Education Hall of Fame in 1995.
